Having an Abloy Classic key made and copied

Are you looking for an extra key for your traditional Abloy Classic lock? Master Cobbler Ville provides high-quality, precision-cut Abloy Classic duplicate keys quickly and conveniently.

Product information and features

• Freely copyable: The patent for the Abloy Classic key has expired, so no separate authorization card or key card is required to have the key duplicated.
• Highly frost-resistant: The mechanism relies on rotating metal discs instead of springs and pins, making the lock exceptionally reliable even in extreme cold.
• Most common key model: Suitable for most older residential properties, summer cottages, storage units, garages, and basement spaces.
• Material: Durable, high-quality metal key body.

A classic of Finnish locking technology

Patented in 1919, the Abloy Classic has formed the foundation for Abloy’s entire locking mechanism and remains the most widely used and copied key model in Finland.

The lock operates using rotating metal discs (tumbler discs). When the key is inserted into the cylinder and turned 90 degrees, the cuts on the key rotate the discs into a precise position. This releases the locking bar from the groove and allows the cylinder to turn. As the lock contains no springs or small pins that could jam, it is an ideal choice for exterior doors and Finland's varying weather conditions.
